Happy Friday bloggers!
Ah Friday, the reminder that the work week is over and the weekend begins. Bring on Netflix, dinner dates, and all around laziness.
The kimono I bought fits the weekend perfectly. It’s stylish yet amazingly comfortable and makes me feel put together without being constricted. Worn to dinner? Yes. Coffee date with an old friend? Yes. Lazy day on the couch with my brother watching old movies all day Sunday? Yes again. And all for $29, this piece is my weekend savior!
For now with the heat still hanging in the air, not to mention the nasty humidity, I paired the kimono with a Free People long cami tank that is black with a slight metallic shimmer. It was also on the lower end of pricing being only $24 with my discount at work. And normally I would think that was way too much for a cami but this piece is very versatile and fits me like a glove.
To finish off the look, I painted my nails with Chanel Black Satin that I’ve had forever. Normally I’m not a huge black nails kinda gal, I’m more OPI Linkin Park after Dark (dark purple) but when my sister gave me this polish for Christmas I fell in love. I mean come on, who’s not happy with anything Chanel?
I’m planning on using this as a great transition outfit into fall. When it starts to get colder I’m adding tights and my black studded combat boots. I’m also thinking my House of Harlow black leather collar necklace would go perfectly. Pictures of this outfit to come soon!
So enjoy your weekend bloggers and remember that good style doesn’t have to be complicated or pricey!
